Starts out in 1960, when he is twenty year old and, up to 1970, trains himself both in Advertising - at the school of great masters like Pesavento, Bellavista and Rebuffat - and in Marketing, at one of the most famous Academies of those years: the Colgate Palmolive, New Products Dept. He finally lands at Aramis Shirts (market leader) as Central Marketing Director, responsible both for products profitability and sales performance. In between 1970 and 1980 he starts up his own business as consultant and entrepreneur, at first as vicepresident and 50% partner of the Italian Office of Ruder & Finn (Public Relations & Marketing) and then as founder partner and majority shareholder of a Holding Company operating in the field of financial marketing (merges and acquisitions, diversifications, international investments). In 1980 he purchases from the English Group Dorland (Saatchi & Saatchi) the majority of the shares of Dorland Italiana and through merges and acquisitions - among which Publinter Ayer - leads it into the top 10 advertising Groups operating in Italy, with over 100 billions It. Lira of billing, 80 employees, offices in Milan and Rome. |
In 1999 he sells out the Dorland Branch of the Group and continues with Publinter, restructured to work as a "command center" of a network of marketing and communication companies and consultants providing fast, efficient and interactive services. In the meantime, since the first half of the '90s and taking advantage from the long experience matured thanks to the launch of Hewlett Packard PC onto the Italian market, he specializes in Emarketing, Ecommerce, Web Marketing & Web Design, to face the increasing demand of Clients willing to employ this new sales and communication tool. On the above arguments he is preparing a book
which summarizes the most updated international experiences. Currently he's basically operating in three main fields:
He is member of the British Chartered Institute of Marketing (since 1971), of the Italian Association of Advertising Professionals and of the Journalists Association (special roll). |
